INDUSTRIAL MANIPULATOR PARTNER EQUO WITH ARTICULATED ARMS

Pneumatic Manipulator PARTNER EQUO with articulated arms, equipped with special gripping tools, is suitable to handle manufactured products having an off-set centre of mass compared to the vertical axis of the Manipulator arm. Its modular structure has been designed to resist the torsions resulted from this stress. In addition, having the possibility to change the terminal arm shape and dimensions to suit, the manipulator Partner PE can be used in particularly narrow environments.

OPERATION
A pneumatic cylinder fed with compressed-air, combined with a transmission lever system, provides balance to the load weight applied.
The cylinder force is controlled through two pneumatic circuits purposely arranged: the first one always keeps the weight system balanced; the second one provides to always keep the weight load balanced.
The operator can change the load level applying a minimum force on the gripping tool or directly on the load.

 


BALANCING SYSTEMS

Preselector
It allows a fast presetting of the load balancing effect in case of weight change.

Up/down lever
It allows the lifting and handling of the load in a quick, precise and linear way, without any adjustments, simply actioning a lever control.

Lever pushbutton
It allows the load balancing by actioning a pneumatic pushbutton after lifting the load through a lever control.

Automatic
It allows automatic load balancing without any adjustment, after having simply actioned the gripping through proper controls.

Anchor flange
The pneumatic manipulator Partner PE overhead version allows the elimination of any floor obstructions.
The flange of the Manipulator is supplied with holes for the anchoring with screws to a strong plate to the ceiling or to a shelf.
All movements are free and are obtained with minimum effort by the direct action of the operator on the gripping tooling or on the load.
Anchor
The Manipulator is supplied with an overhead trolley to run in a tracking system.
Tracking system
The tracking system is composed of two opposite aluminium U sections with connecting and stiffening ribs,complete with attachment points for an overhead suspension and end buffers. The junction between the various parts is done with screws.
Attachment
The attachment of the tracking system to the supporting structure is carried out by means of rods and suspension brackets

The base plate of the column is supplied with holes designed for the floor fastening through anchoring screws or bolts.
The column is fixed on the autostable base-plate, designed to allow the transfer with a forklift truck in different working areas.

The autostable base-plate allows the manual transport of the Manipulator in different working areas. The front wheels can be hydraulically lowered.
Autostable trolley base-plate suitable for the running on a dual track runway, composed of two stainless steel plates placed on the floor. The base-plate is completed with motorization and safety locks.
The Manipulator is fixed on a trolley running on track supplied in double U profile, complete with supporting structure and upper telescoping at floor level. This system is suitable for a floor built-in application.

Stainless steel version

Dalmec can manufacture the Manipulator PARTNER completely in stainless steel.
The Manipulator and the gripping equipments are built according to specifically developed projects in relation to the well-known need for cleanliness in the pharmaceutical – food – chemical industry and in sterile environments.
The structure is realised using AISI 304 stainless steel with few parts in AISI 420/421. Welding is mostly performed using MAG and MIG methods in an inert gas atmosphere; major welds, from an aesthetic and functional standpoint, are ground and smoothed. Visible surfaces are polished and brush-finished.
The inox Manipulator, fitted with suitable gripping systems, is able to lift and handle loads of different kind.


 

Explosion-proof version in conformity with ATEX Directive

The pneumatic Manipulators Dalmec can be supplied in explosion-proof version in conformity with ATEX Directive, suitable for the installation of the Manipulator in explosion-risk environment classified as zone 1 or 2.
Also the Manipulators for the handling of bags and boxes equipped with electric pumps are included.
The certification is made in our plant by the qualified Engineer of a Notified Body according to the ann. IX  2014/34/EU ATEX Directive, which ensures the total conformity of the Manipulator with the Directive.
